This famous brand originated in 1845 and was one of Cuba's major brands through the time of naturalization. Production shifted to the Dominican Republic in the late 1970s. Only the highest quality Cameroon wrappers which, combined with tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Mexico, gives it a spicy, medium to full-bodied flavor.

Partagas Cifuentes blend is a limited-availability extension to the Partagas portfolio of cigars. It builds upon the legacy of Ramon Cifuentes by introducing a cigar specially blended for the Fall season by Ramon's protege, Daniel Nunez. Cifuentes seasonal blend of cigars are medium-to-full bodied, rich in flavor, and use a special Honduran Medio-Tiempo wrapper, as well as Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos in the September, October and November cigars. The winter blend, December, January and February, are mediun to full-bodied, rich in flavor, and use a special Habana seed wrapper, as well as, Piloto Cubano filler and binder tobaccos.

Beginning in 2005, Partagas Limited Reserve has been christened "Decadas", signifying the age of the flawless 10-year-old Cameroon wrapper. The tobaccos undergo the most prolonged aging process in rooms built of Spanish cedar. Only an average of three in a thousand of the richest Cameroon wrapper leaves are selected from the Partagas reserves to become Partagas Limited Reserve Decadas. Wrapper is 10-year-old Cameroon. Binder is San Agustin (Honduras). Filler is Dominican, Nicaraguan (Ometepe).

The new Partagas Spanish Rosado offers a new, unique taste that consumers have come to expect from Partagas. The unique taste starts with a Honduran-shade wrapper grown exclusively for General Cigar in the San Agustin Valley of Honduras. This wrapper offers a rich, oily appearance with a consistant dark reddish-brown color. Because of the uniqueness of the soil, the wrapper provides a spicy taste with hints of cinnamon that burns white, leaving a beautiful ash. A Connecticut Broadleaf binder with a blend of Dominican, Honduran and Mexican tobaccos combine to make this medium to full-bodied cigar a must-have for serious cigar smokers.
